I’m one of those people who need a really long time to wake up in the morning. And I’ve always been like this. For me, the whole business of going from sleep to wakefulness is both difficult and unpleasant. However, don’t get me wrong; I do want to get out of bed in the morning… it just seems to be such an amazingly painful process.

A lot of people simply do not understand why I have such a problem with this, but to me it is blatantly obvious. I mean, there you are in bed feeling warm, comfortable and sleepy… until the dreaded alarm clock suddenly goes off! You are then expected to make the journey from %u2018The Land of Nod’to %u2018The Land of the Living’within the blink of an eye. And that is all a bit harsh really, don’t you think?

I’m sure that I’m not the only person in the world to have a problem with waking up in the morning, but it can certainly feel like I am sometimes. And I say this because so many other people are totally unsympathetic of my situation! My colleagues at work think I am just a lazy good for nothing, whilst my friends call me a wuss because I’d rather spend my days under the duvet with my trusty teddy bear.

Needless to say, this cruel behaviour has a really big and negative effect on my self-esteem. In fact, my confidence couldn’t take much more of a knock if someone informed me that I had a boil the size of a gherkin on the end of my nose… and then proceeded to show it to me in one of those magnifying mirrors !

Oh well, people are just going to have to come to terms with the fact that I find it hard to get myself going in the morning. And they’d jolly well better stay out of my way first thing because I get really narky when I’m not properly awake!

But don’t just take my word for this; there are plenty of people who have crossed my path whilst I’ve only been in a semi-conscious state… and a few of these have even lived to tell the tale!!!

Don’t start looking so worried, I’m only joking. I’m not really that bad. Or am I??? Go on, give it a go; I dare you to test me out on this…

So you’ve broken up with your boyfriend and everyone keeps telling you to get over him and move on with your life, but you’re not ready to give up that easily. A lot of people will advise you to focus on your work, but getting on with your job house cleaning in surrey won’t help you win your ex back.

What if there was a way to get back with your ex and live happily ever after?

Break ups hurt and they can often make us do crazy and out of character things. Follow my advice on how to get your ex boyfriend back, and then start putting the plan in to action.

Sometimes a situation can seem totally hopeless, but if you focus too much on the negative side of things then nothing positive is going to happen for you.

Do not let the break up rule your life and every though. Your guy will not want you back if you are totally obsessed with the split and act like your whole life is over and you can’t go on. This is one sure fire way to scare your ex off forever.

Show him that you too have a life and interested and your own opinion. Often when you have been in a relationship for a long time, your partner can become bored and think that you have lost what made them attracted to you in the first place. Don’t let this be true. Maybe this was the case but you can change that, think about what makes you happy and start acting on it.

Once you have sorted yourself out and feel like you can talk to your ex without freaking out and getting over emotional, try arranging a meeting. Once you get your chance, remain calm and confident and let him know that you still love him and want to work things out. Be understanding and give him the time and space that he needs, he will respect you for that.

Having an excellent knowledge of paediatrics is all well and good, but sometimes I like to be able to forget about it altogether. And that’s because ‘All work and no play makes Angie a dull girl’. So how exactly do I get my jollies I hear you ask… well, by shopping of course! After all, you can put the girl into paediatrics, but you cannot remove her love of retail therapy (or something along those lines…).

Now, a lot of ladies will still enjoy trudging around the high street stores to do their shopping, but I just can’t be doing with that! I’m afraid that Angie is bang up to date when it comes to looking for goodies; yes, for me it’s online shops or none at all. I get plenty of exercise as it is without going out of my way to look for more. Besides, I’ve had more than my fair share of fruitless shopping trips into town… No, I’ll stick to doing my purchasing online thank you very much.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Of course, my postman would probably prefer it if things were different. There is always a parcel delivery for me each day and he often ends up having to make two (or sometimes three) trips to my front door! I admit, this does make me feel a little bit guilty sometimes but, at the end of the day, it’s just a sort of ‘collateral damage'I suppose…

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how I let my hair down. However, I’m by no means unique. Most girls get their kicks from spending money (if they are honest about it that is). The only down side to it all is that it’s money I have earned myself. Hmmm, I may be onto something there… Now what was the URL of that dating agency I saw???<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I have been taking a great class this term about bed side manner and how to make children’s hospitals better environments for patients and their families. I am working on a really difficult assignment where we are supposed to figure out how to do interactive story time on a ward where the kids are confined to their beds. It is not an easy one, but I have come up with some great ideas.

I realized that the visuals needed to be huge and that a banner stand, or a series of them, would be a perfect solution. The large clear displays meant that kids could see the story from a variety of positions. It also meant that parents could read the stories themselves to their kids from across the ward. I needed some expert advice on pricing and preparing the digital files, because I didn’t really know where to start. You have a couple of choices really, because of copyright issues, it may be easier to actually write your own story based on a classic fairy tale.

I was lucky and got permission from Mercer Mayer to reproduce My Trip to the Hospital for the local hospital that I was volunteering at, the good thing about this method, though, is because banner stands are designed for people who are doing trade exhibits, the story can easily be shared amongst a group of hospitals. If you have the option, get the digital files from the author or publisher. These are going to be of a higher quality. What I did was choose five scenes from the book, each with a bit of text. Basically, like any good story you need the visuals to give you prompts for a beginning middle and end. You simply make up the rest. My best lesson was that funny voices help and kids and parents love it.

If you’re also a nursing student like me you would also be sometimes wondering about the market situations, life after graduation, job prospects and unanticipated set of responsibilities. These thoughts sometimes become reason to feel nervous and sometimes, give you a lead to think more about it until you get some significant clue. I have also been thinking about the job prospects as a nurse and tried finding out the nursing jobs that offer you the comfort of working from home.

Of course, I would admit that there aren’t too many opportunities for the nurses who haven’t trained enough to handle the simplest of instruments like hair scissors. However, for the people who are good at what they do, there appears to be no dearth of opportunities. There are few kinds of nursing jobs that allow you to work from home as well.

For instance, being an online instructor in nursing can be a good career option that doesn’t require you to commute to hospitals or healthcare centres. You can start your own classes and earn a steady income. However, you need to find right online resources to get yourself started. You should also be equipped with some basic I.T. skills as well.

You can also take up a job in a telephone triage service. You can provide addition help to the doctors out there, particularly when there are no emergency cases. This is primarily because the emergency cases usually require nurses to be present right there with the patients. Many hospitals and healthcare institutions hire home based telephone triage service professionals who are professionally qualified in nursing.

With all the goodness of working from home, sometimes people fail to see its downsides. It can whereas lead to a lifestyle that’s habituated to comforts, it can also develop a feeling of loneliness. In my view, working from home should be opted only if it has significant benefits over the intangible costs it has.

All I hear these days is gloom and doom about how bad things are in London and the UK. The TV and radio seem intent on reminding us all about how we’re teetering on the edge of a very large cliff and could drop into a pit of bankruptcy at any moment. Worse still comes the news that the government’s plans to ring fence the NHS budget wise haven’t quite lived up to the promise they held before the election last year. That said the services they are cutting seem limited to the administrative departments, so perhaps there is hope for me after I graduate.

To be honest I don’t know why everyone in the UK is so glum. All you need to do is take a look at the rest of Europe to feel better about things here. If we’re in a bad state, then Europe is a total disaster next to us. Greece is about to default on its second bail out and may withdraw from the Euro. As for my native Spain, well the problems they are having over there far outweigh the job losses we have here. Virtually most of my family and friends who live in Catalonia and Southern Spain have all been made redundant or are looking for work. Right now, I’m glad I live in the UK. It might not have the best weather, but it certainly beats Spain and the rest of Europe for living conditions.

A lot of my fellow students and friends on my course have been getting worried about the chances of actually finding a job once they graduate. We’re all training to be nurses of some description or other, but have been told there are very few nurses jobs available within the NHS at the moment. I find that odd considering I’ve been doing some random online searches and have found more then a dozen jobs being advertised in London in the past week alone. In addition there are loads of rgn jobs available up and down the country. I may not have thought about moving to Wales to be honest, but if I get a job there after I graduate then I’m not going to turn it down.

The cuts to the NHS that everyone on the news keeps talking about seems limited to back office staff as far as I can tell. Whether this is a good or bad thing I couldn’t comment on without doing further research. I do know that when I’ve been on placement at hospitals, the amount of administrative staff has often outnumbered the medical staff on duty at any one time. If this reduction creates more NHS nurse jobs for people like myself then I for one am not going to complain. If it also means that I have to take on extra administrative tasks as part of my job, then again I’m not going to complain. I have a feeling that half the paperwork medical staff are required to complete will be phased out soon anyway. Most of it is completely redundant in my opinion.

Are you one of those people who just can’t stop themselves from getting into a massive argument? Hm, hard, isn’t it? Being someone like that, I mean. Or perhaps you’re someone who struggles with keeping yourself cool and your temper from exploding when someone doesn’t see your point of view? Whatever the scenario – and let’s face it, we’re all different and everyone has a different tolerance to things that annoy and irritate them – there are a few things which you can do to stop yourself from losing it.

Such as follows:

By the time you’ve counted to 10 you can see the world clearly again

1) Recognise when it is about to happen: we all blow our tops from time to time. But the difference between people who do so in a controlled manner and those who do so and embarrass themselves enormously is MASSIVE. If you can learn to detect when a spate of angry words are about to come rushing out of your mouth then that’s better for both you and everyone who happens to be in your company at the time!

2) Learn to pick your fights: sometimes it’s worth losing your temper. Other times it isn’t. If you lose your temper too often and end up regretting it, then maybe you need to devise a way of working out if it’s worth getting het-up over?

3) Learn to count to 10 when you think you are going to lose it: this may sound ridiculous, but in fact it works a treat with me, and sometimes I can be really bad! By the time you’ve counted to 10 you can see the world clearly again and usually you can see that it’s best to keep that mouth of yours shut.

4) Don’t say the first thing that comes into your mind under your breath – learn to keep it inside your head until it has been properly vetted and you have calmed down: this way, you won’t end up making someone near you angry, and making them ask “did you say something?” This will lead to you not getting into a fight and walking away with your head held high. And you know what? You’ll feel pretty good that you’ve managed to leave an argument without ripping your Cotton Fabrics !

5) Do you need professional help? Maybe you do. Don’t feel ashamed about that — there is absolutely no need to. Lots of people get help with their anger management issues and for good reason: in order to live a full and productive life it helps a lot if you don’t irritate everyone around you!

Self-esteem is often a delicate state. It is easy for our own view of ourselves to get dinged up or even destroyed. Frequently with very little assistance from anybody or anything else. It occasionally seems our self-esteem is like a bubble, merely waiting to get popped. Listed here are 3 easy ideas that will assist an individual to improve their self-confidence.

1. Smile frequently

Grinning is without a doubt infectious. If you do not think so, grin at a handful of people over the following couple of hours while out and about such as when you are in search for large format printing shop services. Do not smile as a maniac (that simply puts others off), simply allow yourself to grin naturally. You will be pleasantly surprised the number of people will grin back. That, consequently, makes these people seem friendlier and much more approachable, which can help to support your self-esteem levels.

2. Dress sensibly

First opinions count: if you are dressed in scruffy denim jeans and have your head covered by a hooded top or beanie, folks will judge a person on that. If you are smartly outfitted (jeans can definitely be acceptable here, simply make sure they are clean and sensible) then you’ll be handled with more regard which will have a very beneficial effect on your self-confidence levels.

3. Fake it

Self-assurance is an act. No-one has to know that you’re faking it unless, of course, you’re covered with drops of perspiration in addition to trembling like a leaf. Rehearse the fakery in your own home if you find an opportunity - stand up before a mirror and do not be afraid to talk out loud, even though the rest of the relatives believe that you’re going crazy. The harder one rehearses, the better organic your new “fake” self can be until it progressively replaces the previous, lacking in self-assurance, you.

There tend to be numerous methods for you in order to always make your skin, face, and hair seem beautiful in addition to being healthier. The following tend to be useful beauty tips:

-One of the greatest beauty tricks for those with slender lips will be utilizing a light tinted lipstick. For anyone that has voluminous lips, the lipstick could be either dark or light tones.

-While selecting eye shadow, each woman should go for tones which go well with their own eye’s natural color. To do that it is very important to choose a hue that’s significantly opposite to one’s eye color in a color wheel.

-To obtain shiny, full hair one always dreamed about without the need for hair restoration , do not wash your hair using hot water. Instead, always rinse off with cold/cool water that will seal the cuticles. This will increase the shine of the locks. Additionally, when shampooing your hair, under no circumstances use shampoos together with sulfate however choose those with small amount of chemical compounds which help prevent your locks from getting to be too dry. Additionally do not wash the ends of the hair with shampoo just the roots.

-Another suggestion for hair care is to trim the ends on a regular basis: this helps split ends from occurring. In order to stimulate the the hair follicles as well as assist in the growth of the locks, massage ones scalp on a regular basis this will increase the blood circulation to the area. The final suggestion on caring for hair is to utilize a wide toothed comb designed for detangling hair in addition to using natural boar-bristle brush.

Update

It may be that hair restoration isn’t what you’re after. Rather it may be that you are looking to reduce the amount of hair on your body. There are many products available to help you with this, but do not rule out the option of laser surgery. It can be useful and in the long term save you a lot of money.
