It is widely believed that girls are treated as second class citizens as far as technology is concerned. Many believe that technology is a forte exclusively for the boys. This is a complete misconception.

This is proof enough girls have indeed come a long way in terms of technology.
In fact the makers of several gadgets have kept in mind technology fetish of girls and have modeled their products accordingly. In schools now many students do Information and Communication Technology in a effort to make them more than just technologically aware.
