My Review of the ASOS Basic Jersey Boyfriend Cardigan (Petite range)
I’m a big fan of ASOS mainly because it’s good a really great Petite section and I’m very petite, so it’s an answer to all my fashion prayers! Last week I bought an ASOS Basic Jersey Boyfriend Cardigan and it’s swiftly become my favourite go to item for covering up as the night draws in and the day gets colder when I am out working on one of my locum doctors jobs! It’s such a great product for many reasons.
1) The bright orange colour gives an instant pop to any outfit and brightens up potentially dull denims.
2) It’s a great shape. As I’m petite I used to be a bit nervous about buying longer length clothes as they can swamp me, but this is cut really well so it doesn’t engulf you but instead hangs really nicely. It also comes in standard sizing for the normal of height!
3) It’s very, very comfortable. In the midst of Summer I tend to wear denim hot pants and wedges and vest tops, but this kind of outfit can get uncomfortable when you want to lie down on the parched and prickly grass in the park! Throw on a long comfortable cardigan and you have an instant soft cover up/blanket!
4) It’s cool and on trend without being try hard. The boyfriend cardigan makes you look laid back and at ease with yourself.
5) It’s good value for money and was delivered very quickly. ASOS are a great company when it comes to delivery and customer service in general and as always as soon as I’d ordered this I wasn’t disappointed. £18 for a really nicely made item of clothing cut in a great shape is a small price to pay I think and I’d definitely recommend it.
